New Music 2017: Week 1 2nd Jan 2017

Welcome to 2017 everyone, and our first New Music Monday of the new year.

Every Monday from 8am (UK) we bring you a fresh slice of brand new music from your favourite artists, right here on Sumo Radio.

This week we have another big selection of beats from Sons Of Maria, Boris Way, Garry Ocean & Katt Rose, Sam Feldt, and Sebastien featuring OVI.

Update: Check out the latest new dance music on Sumo Radio each week at

Sons Of Maria - Take It To The Beat (Extended Mix)

Our first track of 2017 comes from Sons Of Maria, and their latest release "Take It To The Beat" on No Definition records. This is a a lively vocal House number which starts off simple, before kicking into full on strut mode. Love it.

Boris Way - Seduction (Extended Mix)

France's very own Boris Way drop's his latest offering on Armada's The Bearded Man imprint. Seduction's solid 122 bpm's of Deep House is complimented nicely by a catchy vocal hook, and just a hint of dance piano and guitar. Can't go wrong really!

Garry Ocean & Katt Rose - Move On (Extended Mix)

I love the vocals from Katt Rose on "Move On", for me she is reminiscent of Karen Harding's work. This is a solid House release, and really stands out in this weeks selection of new music. I must admit I've not come across Garry Ocean's music before, but if this feel-good house groover is anything to go by, I'm keen to see what he comes up with next.

Sam Feldt - What About The Love (Extended Mix)

Notching up over 1 million views on the official YouTube video (see below), "What About The Love" is a future hit in the making. With a hint of that Kygo tropical house sound, this track packs a punch delivering an uplifting soulful female vocal, and a solid pumping house vibe.

Sebastien - When It's Over feat. OVI (Extended Mix)

For our final slice of new music this week, we revisit Armada's The Bearded Man imprint, for a beautiful helping of Deep House from Sebastien. Featuring the riveting vocals of OVI, "When It's Over" is an immersive, laidback vibe, more chilled out than the commercial end of Deep House, yet still delivers 120 bpm's of toe tapping beat.
